On March 20, sixty religious leaders from Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh faith communities gathered on to engage in dialogue and action steps In advocating for social change.

The gathered was addressed by Governor Murphy underscoring his support for our efforts.

Workshops included Economic justice, Racial Justice, Criminal Justice Reform, and Environmental Justice.

 

Governor Murphy greeted Coalition Leadership before his address to the Coalition gathering. From the left, Rev. Jack Johnson, Coalition Coordinator, Rev. Charles Boyer, Founder of Salvation and Social Justice. Rabbi Matthew Gewirtz, President of the New Jersey Coalition of Religious Leaders, Governor Murphy, Rev. Darrell Armstrong, Host Pastor of the Shiloh Baptist Church and Imam Qareeb Bashir, Imam of the Islamic Center in Ewing.
